Snorkeling
The crew will take you to the most fantastic snorkelling spots, in the crystal clear, turquoise lagoons of Maldives. The yacht anchors very close to the islands and together with a member of our staff and our dinghy you can reach the exotic coral islands and relax yourself lying on the white sand. Don’t forget to take a high SPF sunscreen lotion with you
Fins and snorkel is everything you need to discover the marvels of the underwater world. This is a unique opportunity to experience the wonders of the Maldivian marine world: groups of colourful fish, turtles, morays, and the amazingly beautiful corals will create memories of a lifetime!
Island Hoping
There will be opportunities to visit the real fisherman islands and this will turn your cruise into a voyage of discovery. You’ll be amazed by the simple, quiet and slow-pace lifestyle and especially by the kindness of the Maldivian people. You’ll never forget the curious glance of the children and their cheerful faces. The small local shops are the perfect place to buy some cheap souvenirs or gifts for friends and family.
The cruise with our liveaboard will be a chance to discover the different fishing methods that the locals use with unrivalled skills. Fishing trips at sunset on dhoni boat will be organized and our chef would be happy to cook your catch of the day! Very tasty the typical Italian fish “carpaccio”.
Barbecue on the Beach.
The crew will organise a barbecue dinner on the beach, weather permitting. The staff will prepare a surprise for you that will make the evening pleasant and romantic at the same time.
Most of the activities are included in the price of the cruise and there is no extra charge.
Exceptions are made by some resorts and some “private” desert islands (normally the BBQ islands) where a small fee is required if visited by external guests.
Excursion to Capital City - MALE'
Male' would certainly count as one of the smallest capitals in the world. Different from any other island in the country, Male is a city of high-rise buildings and paved roads. While the government offices are located in one area, the main streets are lined with shops and offices. There are no beaches on Male and seawalls surround all its sides. However, a newly landscaped artificial beach area and adjoining breakwater stretching all the way round to the harbour in the southwest of the island. A stroll around the residential and shopping areas would provide an insight into the life and livelihood of the residents of the capital.
Few interesting sites; the fish market, the local market, The Islamic Center at the northern waterfront, the new harbour in the south-west corner, National Museum, Mulee-aage, and the 400-year old Friday Mosque.
